Pool Opening Service Includes:
RESIDENTIAL POOLS: $145
COMMERCIAL POOLS: $195
What we do at the time of the pool opening: Remove plugs & gizzmos, re-install return fittings, skimmer baskets and pump baskets, start filtration system and attempt to ignite the heater. We will turn off your heater after test firing it. A separate service call may be necessary if the Techs cannot get the heater to ignite.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES:
- Attached Spa to Pool: No additional charge
- Unattached Spa: $70
- Removal of SOLID tarp winter cover (water tubes): $80
- Removal of SOLID safety cover: $100
- Removal of MESH safety winter cover (loop loc, Meyco, etc): $45
- Installation of ladders, handrails, diving boards, or other accessories: $65/hour
- Start-Up chemicals (8 - Gallons of liquid chlorine, 1- Qt. Algaecide 60 & Enzyme) : $126 and up
(Note: All empty chemical containers will be left for your disposal)
Pool Opening Service Request
What our spring pool opening services DO NOT include:
- Repair of equipment - services to repair equipment is done at an additional cost of $125.00/hr. and must be scheduled separately
- Vacuuming of pool is an additional fee of $125.00/hr. and must be scheduled on a different date when the pool is clear
- Travel charges will be applied if you are beyond our 35/mi radius service area
Customer responsibility PRIOR to our arrival for your pool opening:
- Leave gates or doors unlocked to access equipment or backyard
- Have all pets tied up securely in the house or the backyard
- Have power to the equipment pad area for start-up
- Bring water level up to the middle of the skimmer to be able to complete your opening
- Have return fittings and pump & skimmer baskets poolside
- If you choose to have us remove your cover please have your cover bag poolside
- If you choose to have us install your ladders, handrails or diving boards please have poolside
- If Beattie Pool Techs have to return because the above referenced is NOT done, a $50 trip charge will be added to your pool opening price
If you have any questions about the above services please call our office at 989-793-7121. After your pool has been running continuously for 48 hours you may bring us a water sample for testing. We look forward to opening your pool and spa this spring!
